SCS owners have been involved in the paper industry for most of their careers. Many of the paper mills in North America are old with limited time and resources to address the many outstanding maintenance issues. When capital becomes available, projects must be done on a fast track basis to minimize downtime. SCS has installed coatings in tile, concrete, metal and fiberglass tanks giving them years of extended service life. Coating formulations are available for waste water, bleached pulp, 50% caustic solutions and other chemical exposures. SCS will work with the mill to determine the best technical coating or lining solution for their needs. Over the years and through out North America, SCS has planned and safely tackled many quick shutdown type situations within this industry with over 20 clients such as Jackson Paper, Somerset Fiber, Rock-Tenn, Sonoco, Wausau Papers, Stora Enso, Weyerhaeuser, Georgia-Pacific, International Paper and many others.
